It's a snowy day today, a day after Thanksgiving. Although we don't have a tradition of celebrating this occasion, we've decided to join the Americans in giving thanks to our good Lord. Being at their thanksgiving service on Wed evening and listening to their thanksgiving gave us lots to give thanks for as well.
- For keeping us safe and well in this foreign land
- For giving us one another to share in the new experiences
- For helping us to settle down here and adjust to the cold
- For helping TK with his workload and stress with his studies
- For watching over Charis as she grows each day
- For leading us to a church for worship and fellowship
- For love and prayers from family and friends back home
- Most of all, for His bountiful love, grace and mercy!
There was no turkey or pie, but we had one another and a nice warm meal in our new home. Thank God for that!

Hello! It's great to hear how God has been so gracious to all of you. Incidentally, even though we do not commemorate thanksgiving here, Rev Mani (who was the speaker for today) also reminded us to always have a spirit of thanksgiving. :) " I thank my God every time I remember you" Phil 1:3. Indeed, we should thank our God every time we remember all the things in our lives He has blessed us with.
Anyway, the YAF BS class came over to our place today (we had a break from BS today). We had pizza (we ordered way too much! i think everyone will develop a pizza phobia after this) and played this game called cranium which was really fun. We missed you!
We saw cranium here in the US. They have many different types and do look very fun (and funny). We had wanted to send one back for the YAF (thought it is time to move on from taboo) - but guess there is no need now. Which is the one that you are playing?
oh! pls do send one back!! I had to borrow mine from a colleague cos i couldn't find it here in Singapore. (i was contemplating asking you... heh...)
We played the normal kind. It's just called "Cranium". :)Yah,there are many types. I borrowed Cranium and Cranium Conga but we only played Cranium. I think i like Cranium better. Can you send one to me? I'll pay for it and the rest can just use it as and when. :)
