A Significant Milestone

31 March 2007 marks TK's 30th year of journeying on earth. No party, just a simple yet meaningful day spent as a family. However, we shared this joy with our parents and dear friends from church before this day - something we may not be able to do for the next few years. Our pastor reminded us that turning 30 is a significant milestone of one's life. Indeed, this is a very special year, especially for TK... one that would also see the beginning of a new journey for him, little Charis and myself... an exciting yet challenging new journey.

Catching up with the times

This blog was set up just minutes ago by TK (my husband dearest) as a journal for our journey to the west... and he proudly pronounced me as the official blogger for the family! Erm... actually, this blogging business feels really strange to me... don't know how to start. In my mind, journals are found in little diaries kept in the secret drawer meant for the writers' eyes only, so the idea of my thoughts being made available to all on the web is quite scary. Oh well, I suppose this is a little old-fashioned. He tells me that I'll get the hang of it... I guess it's time for me to catch up with the times.
