Dancing in the "rain"

Had an outing with two new friends this morning while TK went to school. First to the library... their collection of children's books is great! Charis loved the story-telling time as well as the books we borrowed. Thereafter, we had a simple picnic lunch (was told to pack peanut-butter jam sandwich, quite an American thing huh) then the children were off to play! It was a rather hot day but they had loads of fun! Don't you wish you could join in the fun...

WOW!! What a great time she seemed to be having!!

Peanut butter sandwich was something that we used to have when were younger right? Remember Grandpa doing it for us?

Keep reading to her!!! Also, look for chinese books (coming from me)!!

Post more!!!

Do her new friends speak with an accent? Wonder when she will start picking that up!

Yup, we love these sandwiches for breakfast... but for lunch? Well, we enjoyed it anyway.

Her new friends are ABCs so they do speak with some accent... will tell you if she ever picks it up... haa...

I'm sure she'll pick up the accent.

I remember Amelia and Amanda coming back to singapore with their Queen's English.

Wow! Even more fun than the swings! Er, but I don't mind skipping the sandwich. Charis, you can have my share.

Try looking for "The Missing Piece" and "The Missing Piece Meets The Big O" by Shel Silverstein or "Punia and the King of Sharks" when at the library. They are some of my favourites :)
